Jackson Howard has been in the commercial mortgage business for 10 years. He began his career when he co-founded Carolina Commercial Mortgage Company in 2006. Soon after, Mr. Howard bought out his partners and re-branded the company to become Capstone Capital. Mr. Howard plays an active role with clients, making sure he puts them and their properties in the best light, as well as focusing on overall business strategy. He has closed over $1.3 billion in loan volume, including over 140 loan closings. He specializes in multifamily, and has vast knowledge of self-storage, retail, and hotels.
Mr. Howard is a member of the National Apartment Association, Triad Apartment Association, Cumberland County Apartment Association, National Self Storage Association, NC Self Storage Association, SC Self Storage Association and C12 Group.
He graduated from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a Bachelor in Business Administration in 1998. He then went on to receive his Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate Finance at the University of Georgia in 2002. He is married to his wife Kristy and they have 3 boys, Mitchell, Brody and Sawyer.
